My Vision

My Vision

Message

This video is my campaign speech. It talks about who I am, and why I'm running. I have my spokes person and graphic designer on this project, Justin Culberson, deliver this message to you all. I hope each and everyone of you joins me in the journey of giving your child the education they deserve, as we take each step together on this journey. Together we will have our voices heard, and your child will be given the opportunities they deserve to have their voices heard.

“Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.”

Benjamin Franklin

Goals

More opportunities for children

One problem that I've see in the education system is students are given enough opportunities in the classroom. By giving them opportunities it would help improve the overall vibe in the classroom.

Building a relationship

Relationships between student and teacher is one of if not the most important thing in the classroom. If the teacher can understand the problems the student is facing then they can begin to build relationships with each other and keeping improving. There's one other thing we can do to solve this as well.

Giving children a voice to be heard

Sometimes you really have to listen to quieter kids and the ones that are a lot harder to reach, maybe they aren't being who they really want to be so giving them a voice is incredibly important.

How I will achieve them

The teacher allowing the students to set goals in class

Teachers should allow students to help set up rules and guidelines for the classroom, but should still be reasonable rules. This give kids a sense of freedom and responsibility to support the teacher.

The parents and teachers build the relationship

Of Course with most schools, parent and teacher conference. With those in mind, I still want the relationship between teacher and parent to be even stronger. By building their relationships even further it can strengthen the relationships between parent and student and teacher and student by keeping those lines of communication open. Including students and teachers in conferences would build up relationships even more and give everyone at the table a free voice to keep communication open.

Spending more time with them

This goes hand in hand with everything else in the campaign. In classrooms it can be no surprise that there can be the more troubled students, or the more misspoken students. Teachers are encouraged to spend more time with those students to find out what is going on and why they're so troubled. It could be something going on at home or something going on in their lives. Of course, the teachers will do the same outside of the troubled students, encouraging students to be speak up and have their voices be heard.
